Is a large amount of the available space in your service van taken up by a key board and hooks? Do your keys sometimes jump off of their hooks when you hit a bump in the road? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you may be a candidate for a key box from America Key Boxes. The KB250SS is a key box designed with a total of 250 key hooks located on 5 trays. This means that each tray has 50 key hooks. Each hook will hold between 10 and 14 keys depending on the thickness of the blank. All of this storage space is in a compact box only 15.5” by 15.5” by 8” thick. The key boxes are constructed of 18 gauge steel and spot welded. The weight of the KB250SS is less than 30 pounds. You can add a lid to the key box that only adds 2 pounds. Both key box models are available with a flip up lid and a cushion for the KB500SS. The cushion will add about 3” to the total height of the key box. When adding a cushion it adds a desirable feature to the key box because you now have a seat for you van with your key blanks stored below. If a lid or cushion is installed you can’t utilize the key box in the horizontal position. |
